20th European Film Awards Nominations


At the Seville Film Festival the European Film Academy and EFA Productions announced the nominations for the 20th European Film Awards. The 1,800 EFA Members will now vote for the winners which will be presented during the Awards Ceremony on 1 December in Berlin.

I’m really glad I do not have to vote for the top awards, as I would have a hard time choosing one among such very good movies and performances. Just take a look at the nominees for best actress Helen Mirren or Marion Cotillard? And I also include Ksenia Rappoport. This is very difficult decision… hmm, if I have to choose I’ll chose Marion Cotillard as her work in La Môme is extraordinary and outstanding! But also Helen and Ksenia are great! Hard.

So, next December 1st we will know what happens.
