The Times BFI 51st London Film Festival


From October 17 to November 1st, 2007 this festival will be held in London. There are too many very good movies in this festival –lucky you Londoners- and I won’t be listing all but check the festival site to find the movies in the following programme.

Films on The Square: The most anticipated new titles from around the world, in the heart of the West End.
Caramel will be screened here.

New British Cinema: The best new drama and documentary features from UK filmmakers.

French Revolutions: Fact and fiction, fable and fantasy - the best in new French cinema.
Water Lilies or Naissance des Pieuvres will be screened here. (If you live in London the movie will be screened at Odeon West End 1 on Sunday October 28 at 21:00pm and at Odeon West End 2 on Monday October 29 at 15:30.)

World Cinema: The best new films from around the globe.

Experimenta: Cutting edge cinema, artists' film and video and the avant-garde.
