Annie Girardot

There are news that touch you and learning about Annie Girardot death not only touched me but made my eyes wet. For me she's an icon of French cinema and of those that love her incredible performances in so many movies that traveled the world. Since 2007 she made no more films as she had Alzheimer but her long and prolific career started since 1955. Yes I met her when I was very young and started to watch non-commercial cinema and since then I followed her career and enjoyed her films.

In my mind she belongs to a triumvirate: Annie Girardot, Brigitte Bardot and Jeanne Moreau. Today one is gone but I now she will always LIVE in her films.
