Venezianimation Award Winners

Here is the news release with the winners.

Today, Wednesday 2nd September 2009 – the opening day of the 66th Venice International Film Festival – the winners of the Venezianimation online competition, organized by La Biennale Channel in association with the Festival, have been announced. The competition is aimed at 18 to 26 year-old participants coming from all over the world, for the production of a short animated video of any subject and of a maximum duration of five minutes (5’).

The winning short films were announced today by the President of La Biennale di Venezia, Paolo Baratta, during the opening press conference of the 66th Festival:

1) A Bicycle Trip, Nandini Nambiar, Italy
2) Tempus, Carlos O. Navarro, Mexico
3) Il Naturalista (CSC), Gianluca Lo Presti, Italy
