If you are a filmmaker and live in USA, Canada, Brazil, UK, Italy, Spain or France then you can participate in YouTube’s annual short film competition with a 5 minutes or less short.

If you’re interested go to the official Yotube page that has all the official rules.

Winner will go to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival where the short will be screened live plus will get a cash prize. Top 3 entries will be distributed on DVD to industry executives and will take cash prizes.

Perhaps some of my known readers that are filmmakers will win a prize and make us proud.
