B-EST International Film Festival Award Winners

Last April they had this Romanian fest in Bucharest and here are the award winners.

Best Direction: Christian Petzold for Yella, Germany, 2007
Best Script: Nae Caranfil for Restul e tacere (The Rest Is Silence), Nae Caranfil, Romania, 2007
Best Image: Virginie Saint Martin for I am from Titov Veles, Republic of Macedonia-Slovenia, Belgium and France, 2007
Opera Prima Award: Meduzot (Jellyfish), Shira Geffen and Etgar Keret, France and Israel, 2007
Best Documentary: Razboi pe calea undelor (Cold Waves), Alexandru Solomon, Romania, 2007
Best Short Film: Hey ho, comrades, Gregor Bozic, Slovenia, 2007
Audience Award: Restul e tacere (The Rest Is Silence), Nae Caranfil, Romania, 2007

Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to director Liviu Ciulei and the actress Ioana Bulca.

Of course I'm looking forward to watch Restul e tacere!
