31st World Film Festival


The 2007 Montreal’s World Film Festival will include the following sections:

World Competition
First Films World Competition
Hors Concours (World Greats, out-of-competition)
Focus on World Cinema (Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania)

Canadian Student Film Festival


The festival in the World Competition gives the following awards: Grand Prix of the Americas, Special Grand Prix of the Jury, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Artistic Contribution and Innovation Award.

The First Films World Competition gives the Golden Zenith, Silver Zenith and Bronze Zenith awards.

Also the public will vote for People’s Choice Award, Most Popular Canadian Film, Glauber Rocha Award for the Best Film from Latin America, Best Documentary and Best Canadian Short Film.

Finally I am able to post a film festival that I have attended in the past. I used to live in Montreal and had the pleasure of attending this festival. Well, I hope to see some of the movies listed.
