24th Festroia International Film Festival Award Winners
Festival Internacional de Cinema is Portugal's oldest and most prestigious film event. Celebrating its 24th anniversary from June 6 to 15, the Festival presented nearly 150 films from all over the world. The Festival is held in the picturesque seaside resort town of Setúbal, about 40 killometers south of Lisbon. Here are some of the award winners.
Gold Dolphin for Best Film: Vratné lahve (Empties), Jan Sverák, Czech Republic, UK and Denmark, 2007
Silver Dolphin Special Jury Prize: Klass (The Class), Ilmar Raag, Estonia, 2007
Silver Dolphin Best Director: Srdan Golubovic for Klopka (The Trap), Serbia, Hungary and Germany, 2007
Silver Dolphin for Best Actress: Outi Maenpaa and Ria Kataja for Musta jää (Black Ice), Petri Kotwica, Finland, 2007
Silver Dolphin for Best Actor: Robert Wieckiewicz for Wszystko bedzie dobrze (All Will Be Well), Tomasz Wiszniewsi, Poland, 2007
Silver Dolphin for Best Script: Ammos Kollek for Hasar menuha (Restless), Amos Kollek, Israel, Belgium, Canada, France and Germany
Silver Dolphin for Best Cinematography: Oleg Kirichenko for Rusalka (Mermaid), Anna Melikyan, Russia, 2007
FIPRESCI Prize: Blodsbånd (Mirush), Marius Holst, Norway, 2007
CICAE Prize: Hasar menuha (Restless), Amos Kollek, Israel, Belgium, Canada, France and Germany, 2007
