47th New York Film Festival

For lucky New York City dwellers the most famous (for me) non-competitive film festival cured by The Film Society of Lincoln Center is still running until October 11th after having started on September 25th.

As every year in early autumn the fest screens remarkable films from the best festivals like Cannes and Venice, consequently most of the films are known to this blog and most are Must Be Seen for me and everyone that loves great cinema.

If you feel like browsing the program please go here or here to check the films by categories.

At the site there is a video with an excerpt of (Re)inventing China: A New Cinema for a New Society, 1949-1966, a video that definitively called my attention and to share, here is the video.
