2008 Sur Awards Winners

Last night the Argentina Film Academy had the awards ceremony and even if they have not announced the winners at their official site from several newspaper articles I was able to identify some award winners.

Best Film: La Mujer Sin Cabeza, Lucrecia Martel
Best First Film: Cordero de Dios, Lucía Cedrón

Best Director: Lucrecia Martel for La Mujer Sin Cabeza
Best Original Script: Lucrecia Martel for La Mujer Sin Cabeza

Best Actress: Valeria Bertucelli in Un Novio para mi Mujer, Juan Taratuto
Best Newcomer Actress: Martina Gusman in Leonera, Pablo Trapero
Best Actor: Oscar Martínez in El nido vacío, Daniel Burman
Best Newcomer Actor: Hernán Piquín in Aniceto, Leonardo Favio

Best Foreign Film: 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, Romania
