Rescuing Desire

Well not bad for a 1996 movie even if the beginning looks like a Lifetime channel movie, the comedy is terrible and the acting average.

Tells the story of a social worker that following the death of her teenage son shakes ups her secure life and emerges from grief to discover her true sexuality.

Interesting is to see the brief appearances by Camryn Manheim and Allison Janney before they became known because their TV series. Also from another TV series and here playing a lead is Tamara Tunie.

With so many today known TV actresses this movie feels like a made for TV average movie even if is not.

Not a masterpiece but it has its moments, but I know that is a must be seen for those that like the genre.
