Mécaniques Célestes (Celestial Clockwork)

Directed by Venezuelan Fina Torres this movie tells the story of Ana that flies from her wedding altar and goes to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a great opera star.

Having heard about this movie since a long time ago I had big expectations and I was totally disappointed. Terrible and pretentious movie with great actresses, as here you see Spaniard Adriana Gil and French Arielle Dombasle.

If you like and want to see Adriana Gil don’t watch this movie, instead I recommend the outstanding Pan’s Labyrinth where she plays a lead.

The only good part of the movie was the few seconds I was able to see the Hatillo and Maiquetía, which are a tourist zone of Caracas and the airport!!!
