6th Gopo Awards Winners


Last Monday they had the award ceremony and Cristi Puiu's Aurora won top awards even when director did not attend the gala as he had refused to be nominated as he stated that "the awards were not relevant in a film industry with so few features released annually". Recently the Romanian Film Promotion Association announced the nominations for the sixth edition and here are the nominees for the main categories.

Periferic by Bogdan George Apetri has the most nominations, 12, followed by Cristi Puiu’s Aurora (10) and Mitulescu’s Loverboy (9).
