20th Palm Springs International Film Festival Award Winners

Today the fest announced the award winners and here they are.

Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature: Departures, Yojiro Takita , Japan
Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature: The Modernism of Julius Shulma, Eric Bricker, USA

FIPRESCI Prize for Foreign Language films submitted for an Academy Award: Revanche, Götz Spielmann, Austria
FIPRESCI Award for Best Actress: Martina Gusman in Leonera (Lion’s Den), Pablo Trapero, Argentina
FIPRESCI Award for Best Actor: Natar Ungalaaq in The Necessities of Life, Benoît Pilon, Canada

New Voices/New Visions Award: Hooked, Adrian Sitaru, Romania and France

John Schesinger Award for Outstanding First Feature: Captain Abu Raed, Amin Matalqa, Jordan and USA
Bridging the Borders Award: Waltz With Bashir, Ari Folman, Israel
