Not so Good News

Today most news services are spreading the news that there is a possibility that SAG will give green light to the strike voting. Voting could be in about three weeks. If they go ahead with voting the SAG awards show is safe, but if they go on strike the show that could be “actorless” will be the Oscars.

On other terrible news we learnt the passing of French director Claude Berri. I will miss his movies for sure. Some Berri movies that some of us have seen recently: Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources; he produced La Graine et le Mulet and one movie we all remember is lesbian interest Gazon Maudit. His last acting role was in “Happily Ever After” with Johnny Depp and Charlotte Gainsbourg that have seen lately again in cable. RIP. To read the news, check Le Monde.
