2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations

Today the nominations were announced live on TNT with webcasts on TNT.TV and TBS.com, but I forgot to watch with the many news that had to read as yesterday I wasn’t able as my computer died on me! But as you can see, today is alive again (lol!). Angela Basset and Eric McCormick hosted the broadcast and here are the nominees.

Kate Winslet in a supporting role in The Reader… hmm! What they do to not nominate her twice for best actress!!! As we all know these nominations are more similar to the Oscars nominations in the actor’s categories, so in the best actress I’m glad that they included Melissa Leo that has been honored with many awards and nominations in many fests around the world. Also that they included Richard Jenkins in the Best Actor.

But one thing is sure, the awards ceremony will be full of good and “celebrity” actors from the big and little screen, so has to be watched for entertaining purposes, isn’t?
