8th Marrakesh International Film Festival


Yesterday the fest had its opening ceremony and here are the films in competition.

Worth to note is that in the section Films Coup de Coeur they will screen the following movie that is reported as a more “international” production: Gasolina, Julio Hernández Cordón, Guatemala, Spain and USA

In the Flashbacks section they will screen films by Alfred Hitchcock, Joseph Losey and Stanley Kubrick; they also will have tributes to Michelle Yeoh, Sigourney Weaver, Adrei Konschalovsky and Youssef Chanine. Have to say that this seems like a quite interesting festival in the most exotic setting, isn’t?
