I have been checking for the award winners for this fest since the closing ceremony on November 9th, but they haven’t post them in their site. From a different source I found that awards were given to the following films.Best Feature Film: Les Filles du Botaniste Chinoise (The Chinese Botanist’s Daughter), Sijie Dai, France, 2006
Best Director: Bruce LaBruce for Otto; or, Up With Dead People, Germany, 2008
Best Actress: Irene Vivaldi for Senza Fine (No End), Roberto Cuzzillo, Italy, 2008
Best Actor: Jorge Roman for La Leon, Santiago Otheguy, Argentina, 2007
Best Screenplay: Vivere, Angelina Maccarone, Germany, 2006
If you want to read all the awards given go here available only in Spanish. Seems peculiar that most awards went to movies produced before 2008.
