5th Yerevan International Film Festival Award Winners


The closing ceremony of the 5th Golden Apricot Film Festival took place on the 19th of July at 21:00 in Latar complex in Yerevan. The Prime Minister of RA Mr. Tigran Sargsyan, Minister of Culture of RA Mrs. Hasmik Poghosyan and many filmmakers from Armenia and all over the world were present at the ceremony.

Golden Apricot for Best Feature Film: Rusalka (The Mermaid), Anna Melikian, Russia, 2007
Silver Prize: Lemon Tree, Eran Riklis, Israel, Germany and France, 2008 and Wonderful Town, Aditya Assarat, Tailand, 2007
Jury Special Diploma: End of the Earth, Abolfazl Saffari, Iran, 2007

International Documentary Competition
Golden Apricot for Best Documentary Film: Women See Lot of Things, Meira Asher, Netherlands
